how to use OhGodAnETHlargementPill?
OhGodAnETHlargementPill is a way to increase the hash rate when mining on Nvidia video cards with GDDR5X memory type (GTX 1080/GTX 1080 Ti). The best results are obtained for mining crypto-assets on the Dagger Hashimoto Ethash protocol, although applied to Kryptonite. The program often referred to as a mining tablet, functions on Windows/Linux devices. You can download OhGodAnETHlargementPill for free on this page.

- How to use
ETHlargementPill is adapted for GDDR5X memory type only. To speed up mining on the Ethash algorithm (designed for ETH (Ethereum), QKC, IDEX, and a few dozen other coins), you just need to run the program along with the start of the miner.
The target numbers are 50 MH/S on the 1080 Ti and 40 MH/s on the GTX 1080.
The mining software is included with the client from NiceHash. If you plan to use the tool separately, follow these steps:
- The first step is to download OhGodAnETHlargementPill for free;
- The second step is to launch the software (not including the miner) and, leaving the main window open, go to the start of the coin mining program and its configuration;
- after debugging, leave the application running.
Tuning usually requires raising the PL value from the base figures of 55 to 80 and increasing the memory frequency by 50 mHz. This will result in a higher hash rate on video boards with GDDR5X memory type.
If you are using Minerstat, deactivate ETHPill via the mpill command and apply the "mt" argument to the extended trex miner settings: 1-6.
The command may then look like this - all gpus: "mt": 4, or a specific GPU's by "mt": "4,0,4".
If the program does not work, apply the -revA command at startup. For some GTX 1080 there is a peculiarity of bad startup together with the default mining optimizer. Therefore, the mentioned command can fix the situation.
- Startup example:
Windows: OhGodAnETHlargementPill.exe --revA 0,3,4;
Cross-platform Powershell: .\OhGodAnETHlargementPill.exe --revA 0,3,4;
Linux: ./OhGodAnETHlargementPill --revA 0,3,4.
In the example parameters after -revA are video card slots, you need to specify them for the program to work correctly. If your build for mining includes only GTX 1080 cards in the number of 3 units, the parameters should look like --revA 0,1,2.
On Windows for debugging, you need to use the command line, and change the location of the folders with directories so that they exactly match the location of the Ethlargement application. Only then can you copy, add a command and run it. It is worth noting that some video cards work better after the mining is started first and only then Ethlargement is added.
- Optimization expectations
Users of the program give the following estimates:
Up to 2% increase in Equihash hashrate;
Up to 25% increase of initial hash rate on CryptoNight;
Up to 40 and 55 MH/s on GTX 1080/GTX 1080TI respectively.
At the same time, there are users who did not see any results. Perhaps their video cards were from a different series. As it was said at the beginning of the review, the program is only suitable for Nvidia graphics cards with GDDR5X memory -Titan Xp, GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, and GeForce GTX 1080.
With questions, you can contact the miners' forums, they will always help you sort out the problem. If there is a need to study the developers' instructions in the original and find out all the nuances, it is enough to visit the official site OhGodAnETHlargementPill.
