Bitcoin rate rose by $2 thousand in one day
After updating a two-year low of $15.6 thousand, the first cryptocurrency gained 14% during the day

Bitcoin strengthened by more than $2,000 after the coin updated its low from November 2020. During the night from 9 to 10 November, the token price dipped to the level of $15.6 thousand, but during the day rose by more than 14% - to $ 17.8 thousand. As of 18:30 Moscow time, the first cryptocurrency is trading at $ 17.7 thousand, it has risen by 0.3% during the day.

BTC's market capitalization rose by $22 billion in a few hours, according to Coingecko. But the coin's share of the cryptocurrency market shrank to 35.9%, with a daily trading volume of $77.9 billion.

Altcoins have also started to show growth. Ethereum crossed the $1.33k mark, Binance Coin (BNB) reached $309, Solana is trading at $17.25. The total market capitalization of cryptocurrencies rose to $933 billion, up 1.5% overnight.

Liquidation positions of traders during the day amounted to $620 million, of which 75.4% were short positions. The largest liquidation order occurred on the Bitmex platform in the XBT/USD pair and was worth almost $10 million, according to Coinglass.
