  • Zilliqa (ZIL) - Update v9.2

The developers of the blockchain project Zilliqa announced that a version 9.2 update for the main network is scheduled for June 5 at 11:00 Moscow time. The main improvement of the update is a simplified interaction between the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and Scilla, which will make it much easier to create, test and run interchangeable tokens using ERC-20 and ZRC-2 smart contracts.

The update also includes bug fixes, server-side resiliency improvements, and overall network performance improvements. The Zilliqa network will not be processing transactions at the time of the main network update, which is expected to take approximately 8 hours. According to the developers, as part of future updates, it is planned to continue working on improving the compatibility of the Zilliqa network with the Ethereum virtual machine.

  • Flow (FLOW) - Delegation Contract Update

Representatives from the Flow project have announced on the forum that they will be updating their delegation contract. Starting July 5 at 18:00 Moscow time, the minimum amount for the steering will be changed to 50 FLOW. If a user has tokens less than 50 FLOW in the delegation, they will be withdrawn from stacking and returned to him.

According to the developers, users with few tokens in stacking take up a lot of computing resources on the network, and this update will solve this problem.

Project Flow is a Tier 1 blockchain for the release of NFT and gaming applications. Currently, the biggest projects on the Flow blockchain are NBA Top Shot, UFC Strike, and NFL All Day. In 2020, the developers raised $19.5 million in a public sale on CoinList.

Later in 2022, the company raised $725 million in investment from its parent company, Dapper Ventures, and a group of major investors, including Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Coatue, and Digital Currency Group.
