The GeForce RTX 4070 Super has proven to be up to 18% faster than the regular RTX 4070 in 3DMark tests. The first independent reviews of the GeForce RTX 4070 Super are set to be released on January 16, and some information from these reviews is already leaking online. For instance, it has been revealed that the GeForce RTX 4070 Super outperforms the standard RTX 4070 by up to 18% in 3DMark graphics tests.

The GeForce RTX 4070 Super features the AD104 graphics processor with 7168 CUDA cores, a 20% increase compared to the original RTX 4070 model with 5888 CUDA cores. Despite the increased number of execution units, the RTX 4070 Super maintains the same memory capacity and speed. The card comes with 12 GB of GDDR6X memory running at 21 Gbps, utilizing a 192-bit memory interface with a consistent bandwidth of 504 GB/s. The power consumption of the card has increased by 20 watts compared to the original RTX 4070, reaching 220 watts.

Tests indicae that the GeForce RTX 4070 Super is 5 to 8% (average of 7%) slower than the RTX 4070 Ti model and 15 to 19% (average of 18%) faster than the RTX 4070.
