This goes as far as that you can import any vehicle using only cryptocurrencies, completely avoiding USD and Euro.

Recently signed bill will allow cryptocurrencies to be used in import transactions. That includes gas, electric power to support mining in the country, says the Industry Minister Reza Fatemi Amin.

The Central Bank of Iran is also showing support for the bill and shares the same opinion on using crypto for imports. This goes as far as that you can import any vehicle using only cryptocurrencies, completely avoiding USD and Euro.

The bill came out right after the US government put a new set of sanctions on Iran's oil industry in July this year.
Iran suffered the most sanctions from the US as of March this year. But that spot was quickly taken away by Russia after the events that took place in Ukraine.
It is clear that Iran is using crypto as a way of escaping the USD monopoly and all the sanctions and the control of power that comes with it.
The US government is already very concerned about people, countries and companies using crypto to escape the sanctions. That possibility became painfully clear after all the sanctions towards Russia which are allegedly being avoided using cryptocurrencies.
