Analysts at Matrixport predicted the growth of Bitcoin to $125.7 thousand by 2025
The rate of the cryptocurrency may exceed $125 thousand in 1.5 years, analysts suggested on the basis of signals from past years
Marcus Thielen, head of research and strategy at crypto platform Matrixport, predicted that by 2025 the value of BTC could exceed $125,000. According to historical data, the reversal to a multi-month rally starts as soon as prices reach the annual maximum, thereby confirming the end of the bear cycle, the analyst noted in a CoinDesk commentary.
Given the asset's yield data from the most important marks during these periods, Thielen suggested that the coin's value will rise by 123% over the next 12 months, to $65,539, and will increase by 310% over 1.5 years, to $125,731.
Bitcoin has risen more than 3% in 24 hours and nearly 90% since Jan. 1. As of 15:30 Moscow time, bitcoin is trading at $31k.
Prices of some other cryptocurrencies rose following Bitcoin. Coin Solana (SOL) was among the leaders of the daily growth, rising by 5.7%, to $20.18. Visible growth continues in Bitcoin Cash, which added 7.8% over the day and is trading at $295.
