RBC token devalued after Rubic platform hacked The aggregator lost $1.2 million after an admin wallet was hacked. Service says it continues to operate and user funds remain safe

 

The value of the Rubic service's native token collapsed 98% after the hack, before partially recovering. As of 17:50 time, the price of altcoin is $0.041, it has fallen by 49% in 24 hours.

The attacker gained access to the Rubic administrator's wallet and then withdrew $1.2 million worth of cryptocurrency from it. The hacker sold about 34 million RBC and BRBC tokens worth over $1.2 million on the decentralized crypto exchanges Uniswap and PancakeSwap. Rubic representatives say user funds remain safe.

Earlier, the largest bitcoin options crypto exchange lost $28 million to Deribit in a hacking attack. The company suspended the withdrawal of funds.
