The purchase of social network Twitter by billionaire Ilon Musk is a positive signal for Dogecoin, thinks co-founder of ENCRY Foundation Roman Nekrasov. He added that the event is also positive for the entire crypto market, as Musk is a longtime supporter of cryptocurrencies and, in particular, Doge.

"One can hope for some kind of integration of cryptocurrencies in Twitter, which contributes to the influx of new users to the crypto world from social networks," the expert explained

According to the expert, the news of Twitter's purchase is already factored into the price of Doge, so for further growth of the altcoin we need some other news - partnerships, integration or at least hints of Musk to implement this cryptocurrency in the social network.

Dogecoin is up 9.3% in the past 24 hours, to the current mark of $0.084. The cryptocurrency is the ninth-largest in terms of capitalization.

In April, Elon Musk spoke about the possibility of making payment for a subscription to the premium service Twitter Blue available in Dogecoin. And in July, the billionaire's Loop tunnel transportation network in Las Vegas began accepting altcoin for payment.
