Under the terms of the agreement, a line of branded non-interchangeable tokens will be issued, and the logo of the marketplace will appear on racing cars

The Haas F1 team has announced a partnership with the OpenSea marketplace. The platform will create a collection of branded NFTs, and its logo will appear on Haas F1 VF-22 racing cars.

"We were looking for the right partner in the NFT space, and OpenSea became it," said team manager Günther Steiner.

In July, OpenSea announced layoffs of about 20 percent of employees in preparation for various "cryptowinter" scenarios, which could drag on for five years.

The head of the largest NFT platform in operation since 2017 said the current market faces "an unprecedented combination of cryptowinter and macroeconomic instability."
