The Binance team is waiting for the National Bank of Kazakhstan to prepare options for the use of digital tenge in order to understand how to implement it on the platform

Kazakhstan will integrate its national digital currency with BNB Chain, Changpeng Zhao, the head of Binance, wrote on Twitter (the social network is blocked in Russia). At the moment, testing the introduction of digital tenge (Digital Tenge) in the cryptocurrency exchange system is being prepared.

Zhao recalled that two weeks earlier Binance received a license in Kazakhstan. After that the team of the exchange met with the first deputy chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan Berik Sholpankulov and the head of the payment and technology center Binur Zhalenov.

Representatives of the central bank were presented with the BNB Chain platform. According to the head of Binance, now the platform team is waiting for the National Bank of Kazakhstan to prepare options for the use of CBDC in order to understand how to integrate digital tenge with the crypto exchange.

Kazakhstan has already begun practical testing of the digital national currency with employees of the National Bank and second-tier banks. Already by the end of this year, the National Bank plans to offer the head of state options for the implementation of the digital tenge.

In addition to launching CBDC, Kazakhstan is also actively developing the cryptocurrency and mining industries.
