Trading volume on cryptocurrency exchanges reached a 23-month low
Transactions in digital currencies totaled $543 million in October, the lowest since December 2020

Trading volumes on cryptocurrency exchanges have updated their lowest since December 2020, The Block writes. Transactions on the trading floors totaled $543 billion in October compared to $733 billion in September.

 

In October 2022, volatility in the crypto market dipped to its lowest since July 2020.


Binance accounted for most of the trading volume in October at $390 billion, while U.S. cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase accounted for $46.9 billion. Trading volumes in Europe fell 20% over the month, to a low of $17.7 billion since October 2020.
