Many people use AMD graphics cards to mine different kinds of cryptocurrencies. To help them do that more efficiently, the Radeon Technologies Group team developed a special set of drivers that should boost the performance of AMD-based mining rigs. The drivers are available for Windows 7 and Windows 10 operating systems and they support most of the Radeon graphics cards that are commonly used for mining (starting from the HD 7700 series).

However, it is important to note that this set of drivers is not a final release and it is not meant for full graphics or gaming workloads. This means that AMD is releasing the software as it is, without any further improvements or bug fixes. Therefore, this is the only version of the drivers that miners will get from AMD.
